Taking in, letting out, hemming, zips and linings — done in house, not sent away.
Wedding dresses
Cleaned with the care a one-off garment needs. Bring it in and we will talk it through before anything is agreed.
Curtains & rugs
Household pieces cleaned and returned ready to hang. Curtains are always 40% off.
Duvets & bedding
Duvets, blankets and throws too bulky for a domestic machine.
Alterations
Measured, pinned and finished on the premises — not parcelled off to a workshop somewhere else and back next week.
Trainers, boots and suede
Trainers, sheepskin boots, and leather or suede boots and shoes, all cleaned by hand on the premises. Designer and premium labels welcome. Canvas, mesh and knit too.

Leather and suede are delicate, so they are not back as quickly and cannot be done same day.

- Soles and midsoles brought back, including yellowed foam
- Cleaned and deodorised inside as well as out
- Laces washed
New laces and a protective coating are available at extra cost, priced at the counter.
Bring them in and we’ll look at them with you. If there’s a risk to the material or the finish, we’ll explain what it is and ask you to sign before we start. Some pairs can’t be brought back, and we’d rather tell you that than take your money.
Price list
Every price below is a starting point, and includes VAT. Heavier and more decorated pieces are priced on inspection, once we have seen the material and what the cleaning involves. Same-day service on anything brought in before midday, with the exception of leather, suede, wedding dresses and trainers. Anything unusual — heavy beading, a delicate lining, an awkward stain — we will quote you at the counter before we take it in.

The shop
A family-run shop at number 11 on Purley High Street since 1988. In that time the shop has cleaned school uniforms and interview suits, wedding dresses and winter coats, for people who mostly walk in rather than search for us. Everything is handled here — the alterations included, which is why we can turn work round in a day rather than a week.
